I cannot give this game a game-play review, as I will not buy it until it is out of early-access. It has been in development for a very long time, and too many company's take advantage of excited gamer's that cannot wait to play their game. As stated in the title, I would love to buy this game, but I cannot give anyone support until they have completed the project. This is like buying a car that is only partially built, it maybe be drive able, but will not be fun if your driving it in the rain without roof or windshield. I will give it a 3 out of 5, only because I love the looks, style, and potential of this game.
After playing this game,a few things stood out to me. First of all, this game is made by a company that is known for pushing out buggy games at launch, so the state of this game now is no surprise. With that being stated, this company also is known for fixing issues with their games to the point of near perfection in my opinion. Knowing all this, I will only be reviewing the game and not be considering the bugs as part of this process. POSATIVE: -It delivers on the RPG aspect of that like the "The Witcher 3", and "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" to name a couple of games. -Combat is very satisfying with the gun play being more of an attractive choice over melee, at least in the first parts of the game. -Exploring the map is fun, with a lot dense areas to get lost in, but in a good way. There is so many vertical areas that can be explored that the map does not need to be as big, to feel massive. -The grinding does not feel too bad or repetitive, however it can be if you do not experience the questing. What I mean by this, is there are a lot of things you can do in the game, but if you only concentrate on collecting drop off's or taking care of assult's, it will be repetitive. With a game of this style, I find that it is really up to you on how repetitive you make the game to be. -Questing is very fresh and satisfying as almost eveyone feels unique and exciting. The quests always seem to keep me immersed and entertained -The game is visually pleasing and it is deffinetly the one game that I would recomend if you decide to upgrade your graphics card. That being said, there are many options that you can adjust to increase or decrease your graphics. NEGATIVE: -Driving is ok but with a keybored and mouse it is a bit of a pain, as it seems almost too snappy when turning. -When viewing the map, you do not get the option to turn the camera, and when seeing all the icons it is overwhelming, and I feel this would help. -Pedestrian AI is dumb when shoot-outs or combats are going on
