Full transparency, I played this version of the game on Epic because it was given away for free, I always wanted to try out this game and the Spacer's Choice Edition left me disappointed. I spent a a little bit over 2 hours trying to enjoy this version of the game, but the constant framerate issues, textures not loading properly and constant stutters made me uninstall the game. I then installed the original release of the game that was also given away for free by Prime Gaming, around the same time, just to see if this version had any issues, at the exact same graphic settings, installed on the same SSD, the game runs fine, zero issues, I was able to quickly progress through the game up to where I was on this release. If you really want to spend your money on this game, buy the original release, see if you like it, then maybe buy the DLCs if you enjoyed the game, do not buy this release, it will, most likely, never get updated because it was quickly put together and released without the involvement of the original developers, to try to cash as much money as the publisher could get before losing the rights to the IP.
Game's so good I've bought it twice, and I would probably buy it a third and fourth time. The soundtrack is amazing and while the gameplay can feel a little bit stiff, the game is short enough even when 100% it that you won't really mind.
