I bought the first shadow warrior in a sale ages ago and never got around to it. This one I got for free at some point and never really thought about it. Recently I got bored and played the first (no, not the first first, the 3d one). Lo (wang) and behold, I found one of the best fps games I've played in a long time. Also noticed where Doom 2016 got a few Ideas from. So of course after that I went straight into this one. My god it looks great, sounds great, plays great. It's got a lot of rpg mechanics overlayed on top of it which I'm not sure about, but the shooting still feels amazing so it's fine. It's probably a better borderlands than borderlands. Can't say much about multiplayer since nobody seems to play it anymore, but single player works just fine. This was exactly the type of game I wanted right now, can't recommend it enough.
