Cons: If you're not used to older games it may feel slow, clunky, and outdated. In story, graphics, combat, etc. This is purely a disclaimer for anyone who has never played an older game and doesn't know what to expect. I had the good fortune of playing Origins not long after release, so it was all new to me at the time. Pros: If you're okay with meeting an older game where it's at and are keen to experience an engaging dark fantasy adventure - then I can't recommend Origins enough. The mood, characters, and roleplaying opportunities are excellent.
I can't say anything anyone else hasn't said before. So instead I'll talk about how satisfying and nostaligic this game feels to play. For me it feels like the true succesor to Dragon Age Origins - and other games of that lineage of course, like the orignal Baldur's gate series (which also used to be made by bioware). It's a great time. There's frustrations of course, but nothing that outweighs how much fun I've had with it.
