An excellent strategy game that does justice to the Battletech Universe in both lore and gameplay. It is one of the most enjoyable strategy game that I have played in a long time. It's a combination of resource management on the strategic level, where you manage your mercenary company, and turn-based combat on the mission level where you deploy your mechs and duke it out with other big stompy robots. The game plays a lot like the Battletech Tabletop game, but with a few tweaks. I really enjoyed that you could really get in there and tweak your mech loadouts with the level of detail present in the tabletop game without all the tedium that accompanies that iteration. If you're looking for an enjoyable stategy experience you owe it to yourself to give Battletech a shot. Good Luck, Commander.
