I can't believe a solo dev created this gem all by herself. That's incredible. The Crimson Diamond is everything I love about retro games, except better. You know how some old games had puzzles with completely nonsense solutions, or you had to fight the text parser to type exactly the right phrase? TCD eliminates that kind of junk, leaving only the best kind of nostalgic vibes. The pixel art and animations are lovely. The characters and story are charming. From beginning to end, the plot had me hooked. I also loved feeling like I was doing real detective work. I would highly recommend this game to any fans of the genre.
