I have played various games and genres since 20 years and HoMM5 (HoMM3 second placed) is the best strategy game I have played so far. It's a pity that they didn't go ahead with this title and released the flops HoMM6 and HoMM7.
It's basically the same as HoMM5, I grew up with HoMM5 and would always choose it over HoMM3, however, after trying this, it is definitly one of the best games aswell.
