Game is fun. Collect cool weapons, put capable pilots in them, lead them to victory or death. GFX are nice enough, but importantly they're not messy and things are very clear. Which can be important when you're fighting small green things in a forest of green. Definitely recommend getting the DLC as it adds a lot of content. I've only ever played with it, but seeing the DLC icons appear all over the place gives me a pretty good idea of how anemic the game would probably be without them. The game is also super moddable, which makes for a good time. Loads of QoL, balance changes, content additions and more to be had if you're keen. There's a lot more that could be written about the game, but ultimately the biggest endorsement is that I just exited the game and the "Rate this game" window popped up. I've filled it out and now I think I'm going to relaunch the game and pew pew, punch or maybe slice, and connect ICBMs to Godzilla sized 'mechs until they explode.
