DRM, in fact without DLC there's already DRM with that My Rewards gimmick... -1* Overhauled gameplay that makes the game pretty fun now, but still pretty much dead world -0.5* Still trying to pull off the pre-order move... Really??? At least you put out reviews in advance (though let's not pretend these aren't biased lol) -0.5* Play this if you like your run of the mill action movie in the veins of R* with glued on RPG flavor.
First and foremost, I'm giving this 5 Stardrops of Iridium quality gameplay. Character development on the other hand is hit or miss: some characters are written beautifully and make you fall in love them, others make you despise them. I won't get into detail so as not to spoil anything but to name a few: Penny, Clint, Lewis and Shane.
I love this game, I love the story, I love its wackiness, and I love how it makes me wanting more. There're so many things I've yet to see in the game which experiencing them in New Game+ would be the best thing rn. If the sequel becomes a big hit, I hope they get back to this game and give it the New Game+ it deserves.
You might expect this review just to be another rant adressing the game's terrible technical issues (which ofc can be eased by the official community mod GoTR), but I might be the first few to say that I enjoy the game for the story: the game blends its wacky humor and a dark undertone together perfectly, couples with the fun gameplay created an interesting and unique experience.
