No Man's Sky has a rocky history... started as a colossal failure built on lies... now, this game is fantastic with lots of contents and free updates. Exploration, base building, some combat, freighter management, customization. So many cool stuffs to do. The game might start a bit slow but it picks up the pace and the story is surprisingly interesting! Didn't expect that. Graphics are stylized and pretty. Sound design is OK, music is pretty good! I have some minor issues here and there. I wish base building had more snapping options, or some of the long lasting minor glitches were fixed. And maybe more varied biomes per planet for more variety. It's an adventure you can put hundreds of hours into and even better with friends. Also don't forget, mods are a thing and a few of them add really good QoL improvements without modifying the base game. A bit niche of a game and not for everyone but if you like space exploration, building, compliting a compelling story and you are fine with the somewhat slow start, you'll like it. Also there is a creative mode if you don't want to spend time on collecting resources. But I feel like that lessens the experience. 4.5/5 Excellent game with some minor issues. What an epic comeback!!! Thank you Hello Games for not giving up on the game and actually giving us even more than was promised!

This game is different. This is something I've never played before. I am not into point and click adventures but what I've read about it... Just found it interesting... 400 days to wait... 400 days to spend underground to wake up the king... the king who needs to regain his power, to end all fear and longing... Shade is an interesting character. A lonely one who you can relate. The game is extremely slow! But... I could accept that and since time passes even when the game is closed... you can just return to it later. But there are activities to do, to spend some time... The atmosphere is one of the game's strength. Exploring the cave system is nice. Finding new places is exciting. Finding dead ends too. You know, after a while, you can overcome the challenge. The world is changing, you just have to wait. Decorating your little home is fun. The game is somewhat depressing. At the same time, helping Shade in his mission to wait, makes me feel better. The game is about patience, appreciating small successes. It teaches you something. What's the end of the game? What happens after 400 days? I don't know and I don't want to know! I don't want to watch videos... I wanna experience it all my self. The game is not for everyone. It's a special kind of game. Unique, strange, lonely, full of soul and charm. Nice hand drawn artwork, ambient music and sounds... Interesting and captivating. Bought it on Steam, sadly I just realized it's on GOG too... oh well... maybe I'll buy it here too... after a long 400 days...

Yeah... I said Castlevania... Oh, it isn't? Are you sure? No! It cannot be! Wraaagh! So it's Bloodstained. Actually a game Kickstarted by the director and mastermind of Castlevania - Symphony of the Night and later Metroid style Castlevania games. Hence the term and genre Metroidvania. This game has nothing to do with Konami, IGA thought... Konami doesn't care about Castlevania? I'll make my own then! That's how Bloodstained born. After a successful Kickstarter campaing, several delays, hiring more and more developers. Have at you! It's a great game! It IS Castlevania. Combined with elements of Symphony of the Night, the Sorrow duology, Order of Ecclesia. It has all the goodness of those former Metroidvania games. But it's an even bigger project. Surprisingly nice 3D graphics! I really doubted it'll look this good especially seeing earlier builds. But the listened to criticism. That's how you do it! That how it should be! Yes, looking at you, some AAA game devs! Gameplay is just like the previous Metroidvania games. Big map, looking for stuffs to progress, fight against epic bosses, explore various areas, fight bunch of nicely designed and somewhat familiar enemies. It has different difficulty settings, boss rush, speed run mode, and there will be free DLCs in the future! It has the Sorrow' soul system, except called as Shards. Exactly the same thing! You can level up, get new gears. Familiars are here too! So many possibilies! Loot galore! There is crafting, shopping, all kind of fun! Sound effects are nice but the main character is yelling too much. Typical of these kind of games. Yelling "Take this", calling the special abilities' name all the time. Other than that, nice! Music is fantastic! Michiru Yamane and Ippo Yamada and a few more was involved! Controls are super fluid and intuitive. Bonus: has lots of JoJo references. There was another Kickstarter goal, a retro style game by Inti Creates, Curse of the Moon. Also fantastic and recommended!
