Ignore the (clearly politically motivated) negative reviews that mention a certain modern conflict as opposed to the game they are supposed to be reviewing. Well designed missions and a thoughtful base-building 'minigame' make this a worthy title, bringing back nostalgic memories of bringing home the first 'Commandos' game on disc from the now defunct 'Electronics Boutique'. However, it is not merely a clone. Some RPG elements, a cover system, the basebuilding and inventory/storage management help set it apart as well as give a persistent sense of progression.
