I absolutely LOVE this game, from the great visuals, controls, to the amazing enemy designs and bosses, this was an amazing FPS to play a year after the original Half-Life came out. If you like your FPS/Boomer Shooter games from the late 90s/Early 2000s DEFINITELY pick up this game!
Overall I feel like this game is fun in its own ways but definitely, people have a bit of nostalgia glasses on when playing this. Is it better than the remake? Absolutely. Is it as good or as better than its earlier FPS/Boomer Shooter games/counterparts back then? No, I wouldn't say that. It's got clunky controls, terrible stealth mechanics, and a checkpoint system that'll make people not play anymore. I would definitely say play this whenever there's a chance to get it for free or at its current price.
Despite this being more straight-forward than Crysis 1, I much enjoyed this more than it. Unfortantley I had to stop playing it due to the horrendous crashes I keep getting. Hopefully Crysis 2 doesn't have the same issues 1 and Warhead have.
