The game overall isn't bad but it doesn't have the feel of the first one, It should be noted that LAN & multiplayer won't work by default. When SEGA bought the IP they killed that & because the original servers don't exist anymore you need to do multiplayer through GOG Galaxy. I see a bunch of people bashing GOG for this even though they have nothing to do with it. GOG only has a licence to reproduce the content- they can't add something that a previous owner removed because they don't own the IP. ANY dev, copyright lawyer, or person with a modicum of intelligence could tell you that. It's like your uncle dying & leaving you his house in the countryside & when you get there you start screaming at the urn full of his ashes because the electric company never built utility poles within 20 miles of his house so you can't get electric or internet & yelling @ someone that had no control over that is just lame. Other ppl are claiming that it's DRM! They are obviously too dense or to lazy to find out what that means. Do you need to run the original game's CD/DVD in the drive on your PC to play the game? NO? Then NOT DRM. Do you need to type in a CD/DVD licence key to install the game? NO? Also NOT DRM. Does the Game install Copy or Cheat protection Programs on your PC like Securom, Macrovision, or SafeLedge etc? NO? Definitely NOT DRM. If you're gonna send hatemail it should be either to THQ for selling it to SEGA or to SEGA for stripping the functionallity from it- NOT GOG. Also my personal favorite is Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. Soulstorm wasn't as good cause THQ killed the campaign risk map. the next is Total War: Warhammer 40K Total Warhammer 3.
