If your financial situation requires you to maintain steady employment, this game may not be for you. Factorio is highly addicting, twice I have woken up on my day off, sat down to play and what feels like 20 minutes later, I'm 14 hours in and haven't eaten all day. The game is essentially a moving puzzle, with the constant need to juggle resources, realign pieces, and defend your factory against the local wildlife. The dopamine surge from finally working out how to get every piece of your factory working in complete automation cannot possibly be understated. Oh, and since you will deplete resources over time, you have to rework that perfect setup a few times during a playthough giving multiple braingasms over the course of the game. Solid procedural map generation with the ability to tailor the map to your liking means the game is never too hard or too easy (unless you want it to be). All in all, an easy Top 10 from a lifetime gamer (been gaming for 25 years and I see myself continuing playing Factorio again and again for years to come).
