RoboCop: Rogue City

Best Movie to Video Game Made

I have played quite a few games that are movie adaptions. Some games have been horrendous garbage that were name alone and nothing else. Some struggled to link actual gameplay with the movie. Some had great linkage with the movie but horrible gameplay. This was the best by far. Admittingly there were many times I thought they could have ended the game earlier and it would have been fine, but the ending was fantastically done. The other games I could recommend that came close to this are Terminator Resistance: Annihilation Line, and Alien: Isolation. You really felt like you were playing as Robocop throughout the entire game and it never gave the illusion that it was a normal shoot em up. The character relationships, the multiple routes you can go to influence character paths, the pure atmosphere of old detroit from the movies. It would be interesting if they could do a crossover with Terminator since the same company worked on both games (Teyon) and you can see a few similarities in the game due to this that work great in both games.

Shadowrun Returns

Not worth it

It has the atmosphere of Shadowrun and an ok skill tree. But it is the most linear rpg video game I have played in my life. Early NES games are less linear than this game. It is a time waster, but ultimately unless you try to get every skill at the same time this game is a cake walk. I can not recommend this game unless it is heavily discounted. If you want something more enjoyable and less linear but with the same feel go watch "Bright".
