I got this game bundled up among 5 other games on one of Gog's typical sales. I had approached this game with quite a bit of cynicism. I had watched the trailer, and read some of the reviews posted here, but for whatever reason I didn't exactly believe them. The game just seemed too odd to me. After downloading and playing the very first bit of the game, I was immediately drawn to it. Despite the fact that its a retro style 2D point and click, there was something immediately charming about it. I wasn't able to stop playing it until I had finished it, and completed a few of the other endings as well. It looks simple enough, but there is quite a lot of depth in the characters. Each of the characters themselves have their own individual personalities which adds to the story. The voice acting (main character being voiced by the guy that narrated Bastion) and soundtrack are well blended. Need less to say, this has honestly become one of my favourite games.
