I have played Pathfinder - WotR both in vanilla and heavily modded and it's great in both ways... from my perspective. Especially modded, it has tons of classes, spells etc. very nice turn-based combat and the character creation is nice as well. It's no Baldur's Gate 3, but which game is? Graphics are decend as are sound and UI. Is there room for imporvement? Sure is, but even in this state, WotR is better than 90% of other games of that genre. I am not an expert on coding or spyware, but I can't confirm noticing any spyware nor any decrease in performance of my PC. The game is fun and I personally like the story. It offers hour among hour of entertainment and I would say, it's a sure buy. Especially on a sale.
Been playing this one for a while on Steam and now here. Maybe 5 stars a lot by todays standards, but it's a classic and a great game. If you into turn-based combat and don't mind the dated graphics, give it a try ;)
