Vampire: The Masquerade® - Bloodlines™ 2

Very obvious that the release was rushed

I quite like the game. The setting is interesting, Phyre is fun to play, the combat feels good, and the story is decent so far. However, I don’t like the current state of the game. It’s very buggy, lacking graphic options, an FOV slider, and manual saves. Overall, the visuals are poor; everything looks like a grey smudge. I’m not sure if it’s poorly implemented RTX or something else, but the game is badly optimized. I would appreciate it if Fabien (your mind pal) didn’t comment on every single thing in the game. Please, silence him for Christ's sake! I’ve refunded the game for now because, in its current state, I don’t believe it’s worth €60. If they fix the issues that many players are experiencing, I’d be willing to support them, as I think there are good foundations in place. However, the final product should have been released much later and in better condition. And one story point to consider: I think the writers confused Anarchs with Sabbats, as I don’t remember Anarchs being mindless killers of other bloodlines; you could normally talk to them. Also, there is no distinction between Anarchs and Ghouls. Bad job!

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Absolutely stunning game

I didn’t know much about this game when I bought it. It looked nice from the screenshots, so I decided to give it a shot. Nothing prepared me for this masterpiece of a game. The beautiful environments, amazing original story, and great soundtrack truly captivated me. It has been a long time since a story has immersed me so deeply. I must admit, I cried throughout the whole game. This is a must-play for every gamer. However, be cautious; if you have suffered a recent loss, the experience can hit even deeper. Thankfully, there is the Esquie to walk us safely through it.

ElecHead

Nice puzzle game

Clever and well-designed puzzle platformer that manages to strike a perfect balance between logical progression and occasional challenge. The puzzles are satisfying to solve and rarely feel unfair, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. However, the game isn’t without its tougher moments. Some sections, especially the final secret required for the secret level up, are truly devious and will test your problem-solving skills. Overall, ElecHead is a delightful and rewarding experience. I highly recommend it.

ELEX

Soulless and boring

Boring story, boring characters, boring loot, boring world, boring factions, boring progression. I'm a fan of Gothic 2, Gothic 3, Risen 2, and Risen 3. You esentially start in a tutorial corridor (why does Piranha game even have one?) before some NPC forces you into a lecture about factions, his opinions and life mottos. Who listens to this? Then he leads me to Goliet. Classic Gothic move-I lure an enemy to him so he kills it for me. Except... he dies. Yes. The first F*CKING ENEMY (a Reaver) killed him. Turns out, it had a skull icon, meaning it was way higher level. Then? in Goliet DOZENS OF MINUTES OF DIALOGUE. Everyone asks about factions. The city is huge, yet lifeless. NPCs are braindead—steal something, and everyone aggros on you. But lure them to a skull-level troll, and they all die. Free loot! But it's still just junk. Stealing? Pointless. NPCs don’t care if you rob them, but everything is junk. I stole a sword from Goliet’s second-highest official-only five more damage than my current garbage weapon. The Skill System – Wasting Time Spent four levels to get better shop prices. Turns out, it’s 5% better. FIVE. If something costs 10 Elexit, it still costs 10 Elexit after this useless perk. And it’s like this for everything. The skill tree is bloated with pointless perks. The Bugs Piranha Bytes games have bugs. It’s part of their charm. But ELEX is something else. If an city NPC is mad at you, ALL OTHER enemies on map ignore you. Combat Combat is dull. Every enemy has two attacks: 1. Stupid charge attack 2. Stupid ranged attack (because you have a jetpack, so everyone has range attack now) Bows? Useless. In Gothic, enemies staggered when hit, in ELEX, they don’t. The world is huge, but empty. Everything is a reskinned Gothic asset with a new name. Healing plants? Different name. Mana plants? Different name. Meatbugs? Different name. And I just don’t care. Looting is pointless. A "skull" enemy camp had a lockpick, wine, spoon, arrows in chests. Soulless.

Cyberpunk 2077

Dead open world and bad writing

I can imagine that the first idea of the Johnny Silverhand in your character's head was really interesting, but due to bad writing and in my opinion very lacking performance of Keanu Reeves' voice acting Johnny came out as an unlikable douche. V's performance was really good though, especially male V, so much feels in his lines. Bugs weren't so bad on PC but dead open world, repetitive quests and uninteresting side characters doesn't give me strength to play new game with different character when you know the choices doesn't really matter. Background of your character change one or two lines in the story. This game would be so much more interesting and with greater impact if they made cutscenes in the third person, why to make such extensive character creator when you don't even see your character? Open world is dead, no fun with pedestrians or police, no friends or companions to enjoy the ride with. World map is beautifully made thought. Every nook and cranny is filled with stuff. Kudos to people who made the map, just the shame that there is nothing to interact with. In next patches they atleast added some different apartments. But otherwise world isn't changing, there is nothing to talk about with the characters, no reason to visit old places. Romance options aren't very interesting either. All and over it's mediocre game with great potential that is still not fulfilled. Multiplayer would made the game slightly more fun.
