I cleared the game in 8 hours, the day it came out. So I can safely say I enjoyed it, once I figured out how to use the various abilities and how to be a properly sneaky-stabby gibbering horror. My one and only real complaint is the lack of a map system, as you'll end up backtracking a fair amount, and I probably spent around an hour lost, looking desperately for the one wall section I could break through. Much like Metroid, you'll find a door/wall/plug thing that you can't pass through early on, and know that you SHOULD remember where it is so that you can double back. I was a little sleep deprived, and that doubling back was honestly a little frustrating, going through corridor after corridor of my old grisly slaughters looking for the button or plug I needed to rip out to continue the experience. If you need a few hours of visceral, strategy requiring monster action to scratch that itch, it's worth the price of a movie ticket and soda.
