I have played Owlcat's prior titles and found this game to be an excellent addition to their games created. If you enjoy RPGs, I recommend playing Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader.
For those not used to the controls, the game can be a bit challenging in the beginning, but the setting and lore are excellent. I do recommend playing this game before the succeeding games and importing saves into the Witcher 2.
I highly recommend this game if you enjoy D&D (specifically 3.5 edition). The first module isn't all that great, but Mask of the Betrayer more than makes up for that. Also, Storm of Zehir and Mysteries of Westgate are also good. There is an Icewind Dale module (fan-made, I don't remember the name of the authors sadly) that is an excellent adaptation, as well as other great modules.
I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a deep storyline.
I have had this game for years and always enjoy a playthrough. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys 2nd edition AD&D.
I have definitely enjoyed this game and all DLCs.
