I remember being a little kid and spending hours a day playing this on the Apple IIc. I've always had love for this game and I even still, to this day, have a giant xerox copy of the original map hoisted on the wall over my monitor. I suppose this means my free time is now swept away once more. If you played the 2K Games remake, you got a small taste of what Pirates! actually is. Nothing can compare to the 1987 title and is one of the greatest games of all time, imo.
