At first, I didn't know what to think other than play this game after finishing Beneath a Steel Sky a long time ago... Now that I played the game and beat it I love the atmosphere and the story of the game because it offers a unique experience for me. I've never really played adventure games like that as much but I appreciate the experience within the game. As the titular character himself, not only would you have to save often but you are also pitted against uncovering the mystery of the Voodoo Murders in New Orleans... which is somehow connected to Gabriel Knight's family and the history behind the murders. I even did what I can to exhaust almost every bit of dialogue from each character and stored it to commit it to memory at anytime. At another time I plan to play the game once more and share the experience with others. Perspectives need to be more open when it comes to games like this, even for an original masterpiece.
