TL;DR: beneath the bugs and jank it's a very pretty but mediocre game. +The story is awfully predicatable but I find it entertaining and intriguing enough that I want to see how it ends. The characters are the highlight even if they don't have much to do. Your mileage may vary depending on how much you dig the cyberpunk theme. Although I get the feeling that the makers don't really understand cyberpunk beyond a superficial level. -A pointless character creator in a game where you almost never see V -Not much actual roleplaying. Most dialogue options are just flavor. Most perks in the skilltree are just boring stat boosts. -Wildly inconsistent framerate and (on my machine) weirdly fuzzy textures, but the people look pretty good. Overall not ideal but I found it tolerable and was okay playing like this for many hours. However, at one point it did get so bad that I had a headache and had to take a break. -Weird graphical and AI bugs (floating guns/props, AIs crashing into walls for no reason, etc.) Not something that bothers me a great deal but it's there. Maybe it's all just weird cyber hologram glitches in my weird cyber eyes. -Game breaking bugs that block progress. As of this writing I cannot continue with a certain quest because I'm supposed to talk with some NPCs but they won't talk--"talk" prompt does not pop up. They all just stand there. Reloaded several times and got nowhere but I've heard that if you walk away far enough it will apparently reset whatever is not working for God knows what reason. -There are annoying NPCs in the game based on and voiced by YouTubers/streamers. It breaks my immersion and also disgusts me with how narcissistic it is. Maybe that's weird to say. It's also strangely ironic that a game themed around the evils of coporate-capitalism and consumer exploitation is ultimately a product of said corpos and shallow internet hucksters exploiting consumers. I can't tell if it's brilliantly poetic or tragically unaware of itself.
