Metro Exodus

A game worth playing

This is great gameplay and storytelling IMHO. The setting and the world around your character feels alive, especially in the main story campaign. The setting is not some huge open world map mindlessly peppered with fetch quests. The level design provides you with enough freedom to explore and experiment without distancing yourself from the main story. This is high quality over quantity. All three stories (main story & 2 dlc) are worth seeing through to the end. A lot of love and care went into crafting this post apocalyptic world and it was a pleasure to ride it out.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Bloody Good Time

The alternate history angle is very well done, and the cast of characters grow on you. The shooting mechanics are wonderful and the way your enemies fall apart under gunfire is pretty amazing. Clearing out a room full of Nazis with a machine gun in each hand feels like you're Arnold in a WWII movie. Highly recommend you get the two pack, and play the Old Blood first. I'll be picking up The New Colossus soon.

Cyberpunk 2077

An Amazing World to Roleplay in

Night City feels alive, and is dripping with personality. I'm 21 hours into the game and I love it. Yes there are bugs and a few glitches. In my case these have been minor issues. No worse than playing Fallout 3/NV, or Skyrim. The world is still captivating and keeps you engaged despite a little hiccup here or there. This is a true gem filled with details to discover and be amazed. The gameplay is fun and varied, drive, shoot, hacking with computers, and hacking with swords. Driving takes a little getting used to on a keyboard, but I've also been walking to most objectives to see the world. Gunplay feels fast and right, with a good amount of weapons, modifications, and crafting. Also melee is surprisingly good, not quite Dying Light but close. I can't stress enough how awesomely bad ass the world, and the characters who inhabit it are. And I have yet to really explore the numerous boroughs. Exploration in this game brings out the same feeling of wonder of getting lost in wilderness of Skyrim. Except this wilderness is like walking around NYC in The Fifth Element, or Mega City in Dredd. Get this game and get lost in it. And a big Thank You to CD Projekt Red!
