Honestly my all-time favorite that I return to again & again when "I vant to play alone, dahling" When I bought the 1st copy of NWN sold at my local game store, I rarely had internet access but it didn't matter. It allowed me to return to the forgotten realms, worlds and ideas I had so fallen in love with playing Pen & Paper D&D. My Roomies & I played Diablo across our LAN but my old D&D framily lived far away & had moved on to other pass times. I never did get into the multiplayer aspect of it but the Modding communities creations kept me sane during some very traumatic life events. The ONLY reason I haven't been playing in more recent months has been issues with my 34" Ultra wide Monitor settings & win 10. I haven't had the personal time to tinker with it. I do have a grandspawn who has it set up offline on a older system who seems intent on non-violent options ;-) Having it available on GoG has been great & given me the chance to once again recommend to framily when it had become difficult to obtain. Also I thought I would share the following rather exiting news :) Recently BeamDog (nwn.beamdog com) announced they are working with original Bioware team members on a "NeverWinter Nights Enhanced" that is up for pre-order with early developer access from them. Includes NWN Diamond content as well as ShadowGuard, and Witch’s Wake expansions Improved Display: Your portrait, combat bar, inventory, and other UI elements adjust in size based on your chosen resolution including 1080p and 4k. Advanced Graphics Options: Pixel shaders and post-processing effects make for crisper, cleaner visuals. Enable contrast, vibrance, and depth of field options as preferred. Community Endorsed: Original developers have teamed with key members of the Neverwinter Nights community to curate important fan-requested improvements to support players, storytellers, and modders. Backwards Compatibility: Works with save games, modules, and mods from the original Neverwinter Nights.
