Sacred 2 Gold

More Fun Than Diablo 3

Given that I have put approximately 120 hours into the Xbox 360 version of this, I feel I should give my two cents. Sacred 2 is more or less a Diablo clone, though more in-line with Titan Quest, in terms of world size and relative non-linearity. If you go into this thinking it will be a quick 10-hour romp through dungeon corridors that you could easily speed-run in less than 5 hours, you're going to have a bad time. Sacred 2's world is utterly immense, the largest world I had ever played in before Skyrim's release. The story isn't the greatest by any means, but if you're like me and love spending 30 extra hours scouring the hillsides for random loot and sidequests on your way to the next objective marker, this is most definitely the game for you. Sacred 2 is worth 5 stars, if only for providing me with enough gameplay hours and enjoyment to rival an Elder Scrolls game. You can play Sacred 2 for 50 or 60 hours and still only be on Gold difficulty with half the world explored (if that). The classes in the game are varied and interesting (I played the Shadow Warrior, which is essentially the tanking class), the combat is fun if you don't demand big flashy effects constantly, and the sheer amount of content is staggering (there's even a secret in-game concert by a German power metal band). Buy this game if you want to get far more than your money's worth. At the current (discounted) price of $8, you could do far, far worse.

Two Worlds Epic Edition

Waste Of Money, To Say The Least

Two Worlds is one of the most atrocious games I have ever had the displeasure of playing. Awful graphics, awful gameplay, awful dialog, and so on. I'm normally the kind of person who is willing to forgive serious issues in a game as long as it is playable and fun, but Two Worlds hardly justifies itself in either category. And even with all that said, GOG wants to charge you $10 for this atrocity of a game? Do yourself a favor and spend your money on something that's actually worth your time. Avoid this game at all costs.
