This game is a rightful recreation of the original Cossacks trilogy of games: ossacks: European Wars, Cossacks: The Art of War, and Cossacks: Back to War. All units and factions are there, albeit with minor balance changes, along with new, better-scripted and interesting singleplater campaigns and scenarios, which raise special unique situations and allows the player to make several decisions which impact the scenarios. If you liked the originals, you'll find plenty of new content here. The only lackustring thing I've seen is the lack of proper LAN play, but there's a mod which solves the issue by emulating the game server. We can only hope GSC will patch the game if some day the servers go down.
The season pass adds new mechanics, secret technologies and races, which are incardinated in the skirmishes and procedural campaigns. Also, it adds a total of six narrative campaign missions which introduce each new faction.
