Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut

Weird, beautiful and full of surprises

Deadly Premonition is a game I fell in love with. It's weird, it's sometimes absurd and it also crashed on my PC several times, but I still love it. Some mechanics (like shooting or QTEs) may feel outdated to the casual gamer but I would advise you to give this game a shot if you want to play something unique and unforgettable. I don't wanna say anything more about the game itself because I personally enjoyed discovering the intricacies of the game's world by myself. --------Some technical stuff that helped me with the crashes----------------------------------------- I should warn you though that the game crashed a few times (win 10 pro) and I had to replay some segments because I kept the autosave feature off. I even read in some forums that some people also got their save files corrupted so I would advise anyone who decides to play this game on PC to manually save and also keep some backups. In case someone may have the same problem, when the game crashed at a certain point, I fixed it by changing the compatibility of both the game's launcher and .exe file to win98. Then after I got past the point I previously crashed and saved my new process, I would exit the game and return it to the previous settings (without compatibility win98) because with compatibility win98 the game takes eons to load even on SSD :0 Hope this info may helped anyone :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well to summarize even with the crashes I had fun and I couldn't stop till I saw the credits. Its story and characters captivated me and I will remember them fondly!

Her Story

A great story puzzle for mystery lovers

Her Story is one of the best detective/mystery games I've played. In Her Story, you sit in front of the computer searching at the police archives for video footage as you try to discover what happened. The game asks from the player to search words or phrases in the archives so that you can find a new video footage. So Her Story unfolds with every new video you choose to see in a way that is both unique to every player and interesting at the same time. I played the game with a pen and paper on the side, although that is not necessary, I felt like that's how I wanted to experience it; like an oldschool detective. Writing words down for future searches and making notes to myself. I should say at this point that the game lets you put descriptions or tags at each video you see for future reference. I found myself making assumptions and trying to make connections. Some of them were dead ends while others lead me to unlock another video, another piece of the puzzle. When it was over it felt like a personal victory, like I had solved a great mystery. I strongly advise you to avoid any spoilers.
