A real journey for your soul. I admit it, I have cried, I have cried by watching the ending. One of the most beautiful and intense adventures if not the most beautiful at all that will bring the player into a fashinating world full of love, tragedy and battles - one of those, the most important, will be the battle for your own soul. I could never expect a so intense narration, excellent animations and love mounting at every next coming dialogue between Amicia and Hugo. Excellent peace of art - such creation can not be simply labeled as a mere videogame - this is art. I accept the ending as the loss is part of our own journey here in this world that we call "reality" but even if I imagined how the ending was going to be I hoped until the last moment that it could be Amicia to sacrifice its life for his beloved Hugo - such ending could also teach Hugo to believe in good people, those ones, that are keeping fighting against darkness, here in our real life too. I really hope my words could inspire the Asobo studio artists for their next coming (maybe) chapter of the saga: a sacrifice is what our life is meant to be - we do sacrifice us for the people we love and there is no greater lesson in the whole Universe that can suppress it. At the end I felt like it was Hugo to teach Amicia about some sort of life lessons - lessons regarding how to accept the unavoidable. While in some way this is true - there is another face of the coin showing us that love can change everything - it was this face of the coin that I was expecting at the end. My final note: if it was me to be Amicia I would have taken my little brother away from his nightmare by showing him that my love is bigger than the whole Universe. I can only speculate that the ending was the one we have been given for the saga continuity purposes. 9.2/10
