If you games that feel like interactive movies, this is a great game! The cut scenes are beautiful and the story is great and has a great message at the end. I really enjoyed the gameplay, despite the fact there was probably about as much gameplay as cutscenes. Realy fun game to sit back, relax and enjoy the vibes of 1930's mobsters. There are collectables, such as comic books and cigarette cards, which I may go back and try find all of them for full completionist run but the regular story mode was fun by itself just to enjoy and not grind anything. Great game!
Having never played a Deus Ex game before I'm not sure if it's I don't like the gameplay style or it is just stupidly hard for no reason? Feels like any time I try sneak around I get caught instantly and if I take a different aproach and go head first into things I just get mowed down. I tried to changing the difficulty to the story mode which is the easiest. Feel as though the game doesn't have a good enough tutorial for how detection works whist trying to steal and how to lure poeple away to take them down without being detected. From this I've not even progressed past the first couple missions :( Wish I could enjoy this game because the recap from the previous games at the start peaked my interst with the story. Just the gameplay didn't feel good to play. (I will maybe watch some letsplays on youtube and come back to this game another time, and update this review)
