... and one more battle leads to one more playthrough, and one more playthrough leads to one more DLC and so it goes on. After hundreds of "turn based strategy games like XCOM" searches how is it that I only finally stumbled on this game in 2025. An excellent combat focused strategy game, challenging and with plenty of replayability. I've just finished my 7th playthrough, plus a few failures aside, and whilst I'm a little sad to retire and leave the last set of characters behind me it means it's time to buy a DLC, to add to the 2 free ones I already have, breathing new life into this beast. 134 hours logged so far, can it top the 1033 of XCOM2?
