This game tried to be a detective-style problem solver, horror and FPS action and failed miserably at all of them. DOOM is a better version at all three points. This game makes Lovecraft turn in his grave.

This game has good horror. But has a lote of moments with "where the fuck do I need to go or do?". The worst thing about the game is that it has the longest loding time in history. It is recomended to finish the game in one sitting.
This game looks like a good horror game based on Call of Cthulhu, but it is not. It is more like an LJN game of Call of Cthulhu. It is like a mix of the NES games Metal Gear, Silver Surfer, Dick Tracy and Super Mario. You get lured in with a nice prologue, but rest of the game is just horrible.
The puzzles are not as intresting as in the first or second game. The insult system comes back ONLY for onte time and teases you later in the game without any results. There are to many and to long cut scenes, especialy in the end of the game. But the worst thing is the 3-D layout and the controls. That is just awful. Using a joypad or keyboard for controls are VERY frustrating. Lucasarts thought they created Super Mario 64, but they was instead trying to imitate LJN.
