Great game and superfluent on modern hardware + some upgrading mods
Hi, just bought Doom III with the BFG edition, and it refuses to start/load? I get no error message or anything? Im using the latest windows 11 version (verion 24H2 OS build 26100.3476) It works with RBDoom, but when I try to add mods (high resolution textures), it stops working again. Though in that case i get the blue console thing at startup, but it errors and stops loaing (game doesnt start). So, i can play vanilla Doom3 with the RBDoom loader, but mods dont works (which is 80% of the fun with ID games... and i am also interested in modding more). Help/solutions are welcome... Google didnt result in any solution that works for me. Most results just suggest changing the fullscreen mode in the cfg file and such, but that doesnt seem to change anything for me...
