I've been playing Descent since D1 came out in 1994. This IS the true successor of the Descent franchise. Way better than I expected and so much fun. The single player is well done. Multiplayer is loads of fun and the graphics are superb.
Decent is the best series ever. D3 is the best of them IMHO. People are still playing these games over a decade after they came out. Join them now. www.descentbb.net
