It's sounds unfair even as I type this, but you need to be a in a mood or certain state of mind to enjoy this game. Just like I need to be in a certain mood to play shooters or strategy, you need that certain mindset to enjoy Gone Home. I understand why so many people don't like this, but it hit the spot for me. And that's almost the best I can do. There was no grand story, no giant mystery to uncover. I simply walked room to room and felt like I was in someone else's home. Going through their life, feeling a bit spooked about what was in the next room. Reading about your sister. I didn't need much of an explanation. I just enjoyed what was in front of me. I would agree it's a bit overpriced, which is why this isn't getting 5 stars. They need to offer more for what's given here. Get it on sale, eat an edible or have a smoke and just relax with the atmosphere.
