So far this game has impressed me, I am normally hesistant when it comes to EA...especially after ARK! This though, is smooth, no glitches thus far and has amazing potential. I look forward to seeing it grow! If you like survival games, this will be a nice breath of sandy air! Not often you see a desert! Keep up the good work!
Overall, from what I have played the game is fantastic. If it was not for the terrible launch for Old Gen consoles, (I have been playing it on the Xbox One X) this would be a 5 star review. While I was (still am to some degree) frustrated at CDPR and the seemilngly neglected Old Gen ports, I do understand that they are a business, they delayed it three times already and as much as I am sure they wanted to delay again...they likely could not for various reasons. The problem CDPR has is they are a better company than most of the big names out there, so this flawed release leaves a fouler taste. Everyone expects Ubisoft/EA/Activision games to be copy and paste tiles with buggy launches, but CDPR are a cut above so a lot of the focus has gone on their reputation with the actual game not being given a chance. Again, this does not excuse CDPR. I am sure, given the chance CDPR will make it up to their fans and regain some footing (maybe the first expansion is free) . As well as making sure their staff get a well deserved rest and bonus. I appreciate all the crunch work done by the staff. Anyway, on to the game. It is a weird hybrid of Fallout New Vegas, Grand Theft Auto, Deus Ex with the Witcher's fantastic story telling sprinkled in. Outside of the bugs, the gameplay is fun. The gunplay is great. The RPG side is a little light, but still enough to there to keep you happy. Hopefully, the life in Night City will be improved going forward and the AI gets a bit of an upgrade...but I would recommend this for sure. As for forgiving CDPR, time will tell.
