I really like the graphics, the stories each pilot brings, and the music, which absolutely KILLS. Pretty challenging too, at times! Even though story mode is only a few levels long, pilots interact with one another and tell you about them and their stories a little bit at a time when you play with them. I think that is a clever replayability invitation, because I definitely enjoyed the shooting aspect of the game (makes me remember about several classic SNES titles I love), and I do want to know more about the pilots. So yes, I will be spending some more time playing this (very lovingly created) game!
I love this game. It is so captivating. The atmosphere is super well done, the time element keeps you on edge and the sense of danger and exploration is just amazing. The combat and motion in general feel so agile and in the wild. The sense of shelter you get when you just made it to your lair when it starts raining. The feeling that you get from realizing there is an enemy in the chamber you're exploring. Everything feels so... like in nature! I find myself coming back to this game and trying to make my way through this magnificent world even after all these years.
I really like this game. It is lovingly crafted, and I like the art style. It becomes a bit repetitive after a couple of hours, since the places and choices you encounter are pretty varied but still within what is expected from an indie game. Still, the characters you can choose from offer enough variety in how you can approach the game to keep you engaged after many playthroughs.
It's a shame people feel so empowered by hating, even more when they do so from the safe place of never creating anything and putting it out there for the world to critique and attack. Trashing a product from a consumer's point of view without having any idea (or interest) of the problems a production can have, and being so unfair and unforgiving with a great production such as this one will only result in companies giving up and just going for the safe option of poor and mediocre content (in gaming or in any creative area). Cyberpunk 2077 took risks, has ambicion and stands out in visuals, gameplay and story. Go CD Projekt! Your work is awesome and no matter what, this will remain!
