I grabbed this game on steam first in a sale because I saw it being betaed a few years back. I'm not sure if it was the art style, the ease of the combat, the inventive lore or the variety of environments, but something about this game spoke to me. Now I have it through GOG and I keep it saved away on a thumb drive so I will always have it, regardless of my circumstances, because I will never get tired of this game.
I had a lot of fun playing this game, I just wish there was more for me to enjoy. The puzzles were simple yet fun, the gameplay was easy to get the hang of but kept me on my toes. If it had gone on for another few hours I would be content and that's the problem, I played their fun game and I didn't want to stop. If I were to compare this to anything it would be a flame in the flood. The same basic concept, keep all the metres up as you try to get to a nondescript location. The difference it that their campaign was full of fun tidbits of basic lore and went on for longer, and what's more there was the endless mode where you could just keep going. This game required both to be great, basic lore to discover and room to move. It doesn't so it's not a great game, it's just good.
