The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

Where to begin?

This is a console port through and through. While the graphics are impressive, they are only good if your card is supported. Most SLI and crossfire systems have problems and wont even start when the multi card setup is on. There is no eyefinity/surround support and many ATI users can't even play the game fullscreen. There are also save corrupting bugs, severely problems getting the game to start and a absolute raft of basic serious problems that make the game on many systems completely unplayable. If you manage to get the game running you'll find much of your time with the "ctrl wheel". This is the console like selector for swords and signs that is taken right out of console games and you've seen it 100 times before on the xbox 360. The combat is highly driven on 8 directions and basic diving etc, it lacks the potential depth that the PC can provide. All in all I don't understand the gushing praise for this game from reviewers, it barely works and its an obviously poorly ported console game made good only by its higher than average quality graphics (for a console port). This is no crysis in the graphics department, if anything its a pretty standard third person adventure game.
