Singularity is a fun little amalgamation of the entire 7th gen shooter library. It's one of my favorites to blast through in a weekend when I've had a bad week.
It's Blood II. It's one of the most legendary bad shooters of the 90s. I enjoy it exactly as much as I enjoy Half-Life and I don't know what that says about me. It's fascinating. The levels are poorly designed, the weapons have zero punch, the enemies have zero chill, the Chosen never shut up. It's a nightmare. And it's always... engaging? I won't say it's worse than Daikatana, but that's only because Daikatana was actually a finished product. Blood II is a barely stapled together beta. I think I love it.
