Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Atmosphere of fear

The game sucks you in - great visuals and sound, storytelling, ambience... That's all perfect narrative experience but as a game it lacks certain quallities - poor gameplay mainly because of battles that don't feel much intuitive or meaningfull, it seems like they are there just to fill the game with some content. Puzzles are a bit better. Overall amazing experience but could be better if the creators put more effort to make us feel Senua to fight for her progress not just avoid flyes (enemies).

Eador: Genesis

A pleasent surprise

I've got the game as a free copy and at the time just quickly overlooked it. Didn't even install it - but considered it a trash. What a dumb bum I was. Thanks to whoever gifted me the game. It's a true masterpiece combining the best assets of RPG strategies with great writing and a charm. The story seems a bit weird but from the beginning there is the questionmark which drives you to continue. This alongside the great and fun gameplay (again a combination: turn based combat, managment on multiple levels, RPG elements, leveling and so much on) creates an amazing experience. Best game I've got on this platform.

Little Nightmares

So far, so hell

It's not particularly good time for me to review this game because I haven't finished it yet, but. I have to point some things that might help you with decision wether to buy or not this game. Yes, graphics and style are very nice, pleasant to watch. Yes, the main character is easy to identify with. Yes, the villains are made in clever and imaginative way. But, the gameplay is sometimes real pain in the ass. And I mean it. I played it twice today, in both sessions I quit in anger. Let me explain. Controles are not very thought trough. Often you have obstacle and you have to go trough some hole. But the hole is in some exact place, for example in the left half of the wall. And because of the point of view, you are looking at the game, it's hard to hit the hole and go trough. When someone is chasing you, you end up with few replays of the location just because of this. But that's not the biggest problem. The most pain in the ass is the game's response to input. Often you find yourself solving the puzzle and trying to e.g. push this button or jump on this lever, but it doesn't work. So you think: "Ok, maybe that's not the right solution." After five minutes of real frustration, because you don't know what to do, you try the lever or the button again, or you go find walktrough on YT, and you find out that you were right in the first time, but back then it just didn't work. These things just make me angry. So far I like the game, the visuals, the 'story', characters, but man, it can be annoying. If you are a little bit choleric, in case of games, like me, I don't recomend you to buy this game.
