We Happy Few

Too much filler

First off, this game has a lot going for it: A very interesting story, especially relevant in relation to the last few years, both as to human nature of the characters and that of the "herd." The setting is also interesting and for the first couple of hours you will love it and wonder what all the reviews are complaining about, but, sadly, the game dilutes its strengths. Systems such as survival elements, crafting, weapons breaking in a couple of hits, are all added as inconvienct padding. This is very apparent as the quests progress and fetch quest follows fetch quest. In one example, a guy wanted a value for his car so he could open a door - the value was literally on a box a meter or so away - pointless padding, which drains your will to get to the next interesting story piece. If the game streamlined its padding, reduced the map and turned it more linear rather than open world, a tight stealth section here, a tense combat bit here, focus on the story and being its own game rather than trying to be a bit of an rpg, a bit of a survival game, and a bit of an open world, it would be a classic.

Fallout: London

Do yourself a favour and wait.

This will be one of the best fallout experiences ever, but not yet. I have put in thirty hours and know that most of that was fighting the bugs. Yet I loved it. The game tricks you into thinking its working for several hours then certain areas - london bridge, st pauls, constantly crash. Do yourself a favour and dont sully your experience by playing it in its current state, wait until it is fixed, proper fixed. At the moment it is such a buggy mess that it could have been made by bethesda.

Jagged Alliance 3

Would be great if it worked

As so many others have said on the forums here and on steam, it works fine for a while, but as soon as you get to a fight in a town it constantly crashes, regardless of the settings (lowest, windowed, ultra) or your computer. Amd, nividia, it doesn't seem to matter. Some get lucky and seem to not have these problems, but so, so many of us do and all the offical game patches just talk about new features, not fixing their broken game. The game itself is great, everything I was hoping for.... if it worked. My advice, wait several months for them to get their act together, because right now it is a broken mess. so Sad. So frustrating. The game is fun, funny, does all the right things, but needed someone to do some bug testing before release.

Expeditions: Viking

Would be good, but game breaking bugs

I loved conquisitor and really enjoyed this game, but after only a few hours in when you try to visit the city of ribe, the game crashes. Whilst I didnt have the cannot load issue that many have, i had the game just crash whilst you are running around the town. Again and again and again, no matter what the settings are. Sad, as was enjoying the game, but considering how old it is now and that these bugs are not fixed, it shows that the makers do not care and i doubt they will fix it. Many complain about problems like this in the game in the large towns. Such a waste.
