As most players of this genre of games i have several problems with this one : - Impossible to highlight interactables, Alt key just shows junk on the ground and is useless, i lose a lot of times probing with my mouse the screen to search what i can or cannot click, is this game advertised as a Point and Click ? No... So please offer option to do like in POE/Tyrany. - Impossible to toggle view cones, what this games consider being a toggle is a constant key press... A real toggle would be to press once to activate and press again to deactivate ! - The key configuration looks promising at first but i just tried to simply invert left click and right click, because i prefer to move with a right click like in all the other games in the last 30 years... The result ended in an unplayable state because they are some actions on the mouse buttons that cannot be remapped. So i have to play with an awkward default mouse setup. - In dialogs there are no indications on the chances of success of any choices, so i have to waste a vast amount of time to do trials and retry doing F5/F8. We are in 2018 please help players in their choices with some form of stats, POE/Tyrany are much better in this aspects, make it activatable so people that like old school trial and error can lose as many time as they want. In any case doing F5/F8 ruin the game immersion. - They are too many unforeseen consequences to the dialog choices, reasonable choices often yield to fight encounters i didn't asked for. Only solution is doing F5/F8 that ruin the game immersion. - In the same vicinity some fights are easy and others are undoable, often this means i have to come back later. The problem is that some dialogs seemingly peaceful end in fights that are too hard at current level. This means that even some dialogs cannot be taken until some minimal level and its a huge design flaw. Again F5/F8 saves the day but normal players souldn't have to do it so often. - The rendering is very beautiful but it raises a very huge problem of readability, there is no way to know where i can go and where i cannot, so again i have to probe the screen and click everywhere in hope it leads somewhere, its again a huge design flaw. Only the minimap indicates slightly the walkable areas and the minimap cannot be clicked... I have just started the game so i cannot say if the RPG part is decent but i can already say that the basics for the user experience comfort are hugely lacking. This explains my somewhat mitigated review, i might come back to write more about the mechanics on fights and story building but we already know they are good.
