Mutazione is an incredibly addictive and immersive story line based adventure game. The game features a beautifuly composed sound track which stands on its on feet as an enjoyable album to listen to. The only sour part was the pro natalist theme in the storyline. Miu freely giving up her life to raise a child by the towns lost soul that hops from relationship to relationship without a care about the consequences struck me the wrong way. Being female does not mean you have to raise other peoples children. I feel that the protagnist would have better been represented with a storyline about the consequences of pregnancy and options (whether it be adoption or abortion). Especially considering Kai is of a child bearing age. It felt like a conflicting theme, Kai was put on this great adventure to explore this beautiful mutant town but kept getting reminded that her only worth as a female was to have children.
I just finished this game yesterday and I LOVED THE ENDING. The whole game was full of beautiful art and banter. I loved the banter. So many in jokes about Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island. It is very cheap to buy, do not hesitate. It was worth the money (and I would have paid more for it). Mr Gilbert, please keep making more games. I loved this so very much.
Easy to learn and full of laughs. A really easy game to sit down and enjoy. Highly recommend you purchase this classic game.
I'm currently in Chapter 3 and there is this ridiculously difficult puzzle which ended up with me nearly throwing my computer out of the window. The good: - Excellent voice acting - Interesting story The bad: - Impossible to progress without looking at a cheat guide, game is too difficult and part of the fun of point and click games is to find out the answer yoursellf - Ridiculous puzzles, all I can say is that the developer is a sadomasicist to implent such hellish nightmare puzzles. The only way to enjoy the game is to use a strategy guide, and even then, it will take you alot of time to solve these hard puzzles. If I could make a suggestion, ditch these stupid puzzles. The game is great, but these puzzles make the game not so much fun.
This is the first turn based RPG game i've ever played. Luckily, my husband has played each and every previous Shadowrun iteration. With the help of my husband, I was able to quickly start playing and enjoying Shadowrun. The world sucks you in completely. The graphics are gorgeous and the gameplay is satisfying. The best part of this game is the storyline, it is packed with twists and turns that you don't see coming. I just utterly love this game so much. My husband said there is a chance that they won't release another Shadowrun game. I hope he is wrong as I have found a new love in this franchise. I highly recommend to give it a go and you will in turn be rewarded. It is an unforgetable game.
As a lover of Lucas Arts games such as Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle, I was instantly drawn to Lamplight City. The voice acting is spot on and the storyline is well written, it closes out to be a very satisfying ending. I highly recommend you purchase this game, it was an absolute joy to play.
