+ The first of the series that sets a good base for the rest of the series plot-wise. + Game has iconic voice acting and "script writing" (whether intentional or not) that continues to ensure that it's always going to be a well-loved game. + Relatively realistic gun play. + Nice and atmospheric. + Modding community is very active and continues to support the game long after the developers have moved onto develop newer games. - Glitchy.
+ Introduced weapon repairs, etc. to the series. + Also introduced some of the features, albeit poorly, that would make it into Call of Pripyat in a more polished way. + Some of the "gang wars" are interesting as you can defend territory. - Defending territories constantly is annoying. - Glitchiest of all of the STALKER games. - Plot is forgettable. Still worth getting, but I would play the first game and then Call of Pripyat, and then go back to Clear Sky if the series interests you; you're not missing a lot by NOT playing it.
+ Great story, as in-depth as you're going to get from a STALKER game that's half-translated from Russian/Ukrainian to English. + This game includes weapon customization and repairs, which is a step up from the first game. + If it's something that interests you, the modding community is still strong which supports the game on a continuing basis. + Cool scenery, very atmospheric. - Game is glitchy (as are the rest of the STALKER games), which is to be expected at this point.
This is the definitive [theme park] management game, if you didn't have the benefit of playing this 20 years ago, the next best time is now. It still holds up even today. + Game comes with both expansion packs, with all of the scenarios and rides that come with them. + Literally no issues running the game (with the patch installed that fixes the crashing issue on newer computers). + Again, just a classic experience. - No negatives.
+ Great number of golfers, especially with the most recent update + Most recent update also changed the number of items that you can build, which improves how many food and drink stands that you can build, which was a small issue before as well. + Extremely easy to make courses with the course designer, and the golfers are extremely responsive to changes to your course and adapt their playstyles to match. + As you level up your course, you unlock more items so there's a lot of progress to be made as you play. - There's a lot of grinding without making changes to the settings to allow more income to be made per day and to unlock things between the days. - The characters are sometimes not easy to satisfy; sometimes impossibly so. - The game is lacking in a variety of additional decorations and could improve on the number of them to improve the course in the future.
