Low effort garbage

These gimmicky historical strategy games are getting annoying. You'll have more fun watching a spherical atlas spin than playing this crap. If you want a proper turn-based strategy game go play Heroes of Might and Magic II instead.

Lorelai

Garbage

TL;DR: More of a disguised visual novel than an adventure game. It's a compilation of all the worst aspects of the previous game made by the devs. Just like in the previous games, the artstyle and the soundtrack are the only highlights while the rest is subpar. Seems like the devs haven't learned from their past mistakes and chose to compile all the worst design aspects of their previous games into this one. Just like in The Cat Lady the game will have you perform meaningless tasks that neither advance the plot or offer any challenge, i.e. microwave some food, replace batteries in your headphones, etc... The game forces meaningless banter between it's uninteresting stereotyped characters and you soon end up mashing the skip button. The first male character you meet is also blatantly recycled from the psycho in The Cat Lady. He looks, speaks and acts the same as well with zero creativity or originality shown by the devs. Unironically the game also has the same high school humor as TCL, with the male making an immature joke when Lorelai grabs batteries by assuming it's for a vibrator, which shows that the character was written by someone much younger and makes the character less credible. The plot is almost an exact copy of TCL but this time it doesn't make any sense. In TCL you end up in a sort of dream world after overdosing on pills. It makes sense as the character is heavily drugged. In Lorelai you also end up in a dream world while being sober and without any explanation. It's hard to immerse yourself into a world knowing that it is not consistent and could collapse at any moment. This is a rather cheap gimmick of psychological horror games.

Pathway

Pretty but terrible

1 star for the great pixel art but 0 for the rest. This game is garbage I don't know why GOG is even promoting it. GOG staff really sucks at curating.

Ultima™ 7 The Complete Edition

Best RPG ever but...

Don't give GOG money for this broken garbage, they don't deserve it. This version is full of major bugs that require troubleshooting to fix. Most bugs have fixes existing somewhere so it's a shame that GOG couldn't properly patch the game before selling it.

Warcraft I & II Bundle

Early April's Fool?

Seeing the price they charge it can only be that. Put on your eyepatch and your peg-leg matey and laugh all the way to the high seas because this shit isn't worth 20$.

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™

Broken garbage

You're better off pirating this because the GOG version still have game breaking bugs that force you to start over. Game is 10/10 in the first few hours then goes downhill to a 5/10 with generic level design and skippable dialogue/lore dumps.

We. The Revolution

Pretty browser game

Should have been free though, this is a poor excuse for a video game.
