Terraforming Mars

Fantastic!

After not being able to finish playing a game with some friends eight days ago, it was a lot of fun to be able to play through a complete game and get used to its interface.

Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance

Successor to Total Annihilation

If you ever wished that Cavedog Entertainment came out with another game, you should definitely check this title out!

Yooka-Laylee

Ton of Fun

When is the sequel coming out?! This game was so enjoyable and is a worthy spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. There are five different worlds that can be unlocked and expanded plus a hub world that is rather expansive. Though the time to beat the boss escapes me, collecting everything in the entire game took about 28 hours. No tutorials or walk-throughs were used until after defeating the final boss, and then they came in handy to collect everything that was missed the first time through the levels. If you enjoyed N64 platforming games and are ready for some nostalgia, you should definitely get this game for yourself!

Magrunner: Dark Pulse

In the spirit of Portal ...

Ever wandered what Portal would be like with magnetism instead of portals? No? Well, you should still give this game a try. You can fly through the levels and give yourself a headache just as with the aforementioned game. Magrunner is great physics-based game that will definitely make you think. My only quarrel with its developers is their choice that opposites repel instead of attract (as is the case with reality).

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Psychologically Terrifying!

This game is great if you let it scare you! It was definitely designed to build anticipation and fear of the unknown throughout its many levels. For those who want a less terrifying play-through, not fearing death, insanity, or the game's intent greatly helps and can allow logically-minded individuals a rather enjoyable experience solving its puzzles.

Waking Mars

Great if you like evolutionary theory!

Waking Mars was an excellent game, and it is obvious that a lot of research went into its creation. The environment and how the various creatures interact with each other and with the environment were certainly well thought out! If you do not mind the paradigm that evolution is fact, there is not much else to find fault with in the game.

Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers

Short but definitely fun!

This game has very interesting physics mechanics involving a rocket for pushing, rope for pulling, and laser for cutting. The options for altering the world abound, and the game has a variety of achievements available to increase replay value. Other than a little bit of unnecessary written language, the game was excellent and recommendable for its unique qualities!

Driver®: Parallel Lines

Similar to GTA

If you like Grand Theft Auto and want to try a similar world, this is a good game to play! It does not seem to be as detailed, but it does offer the vehicles that make you the driver. It was fun to play through, especially after discovering that there are two different decades the story takes place in.

Strike Suit Zero

Great fun in space!

This game is a lot of fun with just the right level of complexity. If you are playing this game casually, it is possible to win; but when you push yourself and play as the game asks you, your rewards are well worth the extra effort. My only complaint with the game was that the mouse dead zone should not have been made so large in the last level; the change forced me to use a joystick to complete the story.

Evoland

Good but Short

Having a background in various games, such as those that inspired Evoland, definitely helps when playing the game (both to enjoy the "story" and to know what to do sometimes). I bought this game when it was 80% off, and considering the hours spent in playing the game, it was definitely worth it! Evoland can be finished in a day if you can stick with it that long, and you will get an interesting glimpse into how games have changed over the years.
