It's been 20 years. This came out when I was 3 years old and I discovered it when I was 18. A tear was shed when I came out of the ship in the first level, do I need to say more? The music, the graphics (though old, crafted in the most detailed way possible at the time). The passion which was put into this is so powerful that it just overwhelms you. Play it. Do yourself a favor.

I loved the story, but the gameplay is centered around puzzles and... gues what? The item descriptions tell you almost exactly what to do and the items you need are HIGHLIGHTED and GLOWING as if they were once touched by GOD HIMSELF. So this pretty much kills it and leaves this game as a walking+pickup-errand simulator. Vladdy is good (the bear) but gets old FAST and the ending pretty much destroys everything you achieved and hopes you take it as a good joke. I was rather pist to be honest.

It's basically a GTA with a more cartoonish movement (walking, running, driving), same wapon handling and a very different health system and "wanted" system. The story is very good in my opinion, Saints row allows itself to be merciless and much more violent than GTA. Customization is insane (for the time). I really liked the game.
