I used to play this back in the day etc etc. I'd bought this many years ago on GOG and it was pretty rough, then today I saw it was part of their "Good Old Games" thing where they make games fit for modern systems, so I re-downloaded it and kinda assumed they had revisited the game and made it, you know, fit for modern systems. This is not fit for modern systems. It runs, but the mouse response is just terrible and borderline unplayable. I've tried different dpi settings on my mouse but the lag/delay is the problem and it's just huge. Plus, I've found no menus at all, no resolution or anything and the game runs in a small box with black borders on every edge (not just the left and right cos 14:9, no, every edge). If you push "esc" in game, it just restarts the level. I don't even know how to quit the game without using Windows kill buttons. This review brings me no joy to type but I just kinda expected the game to be more usable. It certainly still is on the Amiga, very very poor here though. Disappointing especially with the "Good Old Game" tag on it. I expected more.
