I liked the story of this game, the hopelessness of it, but it was bogged down by an odd quest structure and rng combat. The magic system was pointless becuase not only does magic cost you sanity (of which you're ALWAYS losing some), but the spells really don't do much offensively, thus making anyone specced for magic kinda useless. The game is also short and and some of the quests seems like they don't really lead anywhere. Also, the game ends on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved. The graphics were well done and very interesting, especially the interesting monster designs. And the music was nice and well fitting to the story, as well. This could have been a great game, but the devs kinda left it unresolved and left behind.
I wanted to like this game, but it's just too broken. Firstly, the in-game music is too loud, but you can't lower it because the music volume doesn't lower it. It instead lowers your MIC VOLUME! The only way to deal with the music is to either edit the music track and lower it that way or delete it entirely. Secondly, the HUD is horrid. It moves as you move so it's hard to see at a glance what your ammo and shields are without having to stop moving for a second. Finally, the missions are a problem. Some of the missions are scams where no matter what you do, you either fail them or they never complete! Go fishing with a guy looking for a whale? Nothing happens. Chase a scientist? He vanishes and nothing happens. Fight all the cops in town for 30k? The cops are endless. And there are a few missions that straight up won't launch, no matter how many times you press enter! And you can get softlocked if all you have are scam or busted missions. The graphics are fine and decent looking and the music is okay when it's not destroying your eardrums. The controls are fine, and they can be rebound if needed. The game CAN be played in windowed mode, but it's stuck in the top left hard corner of the screen. I reccomend avoiding this game until it's fixed, no matter the price!
Hilarous cars and characters and lots of wrecking fun! Only issue I have is the cars seem a bit squirrely and the camera sucks. But still fun and a geat game!
Great and challenging mecha fun! Controls do take some getting used to.
Wingmen will either not do special orders, enemies will randomly not take damage and missions will randomly not complete. Needs to be fixed.
